COVID-19 Response

Lakewood Childcare Centre & Out of School Care has reopened as per the Government of Alberta's relaunch strategy. Please click the PDF link to see the full list of changes as per the Government of Alberta.

Key changes include: staggered parent drop-off, questionnaires at every drop off, non contact temperature checks, no non-essential visitors, social distancing, and increased cleaning measures.

Please ensure your child has the following:

  • Lunch (label lunch kit) – include two healthy snacks for the day

  • Indoor shoes (labelled, non-marking running shoes)

  • Outdoor shoes (labelledweather appropriate)

  • Seasonal clothing (fall jacket, winter jacket, snow pants, snow boots, mittens, toque, scarf, spring jacket, summer jacket, hat, sunglasses)

  • Change of clothing

  • Milk/Formula (if applicable)

  • Napping blanket (if applicable)

  • Bottle/Sippy cup (if applicable and labelled)

  • Diapers/Diaper wipes/Diaper cream (if applicable)

  • Sunscreen/Bug spray

Important: Drop off time is between 6:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. We kindly request that all children are picked up by 5:45 p.m. This allows our staff to prepare for the next day.
